I wish. . .
that everyone still had a red pen,
that all students had filler paper,
that books had covers,
that work was turned in on time,
that students used eraseable blue or black pen, and
that everyone has a blessed Christmas and an enjoyable break.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!!

December News
This month we will be finishing up a few of our topics. In religion, we are studying Advent, and Christmas. We are also finishing up the sacraments of baptism and confirmation. The students do not have a prayer to memorize for December. We all have enough to do this month.
The stories in our reader are about inventions and artists. The students always have the essay questions for the test in their notebooks. Please check with them and go over the questions.
We are writing a mystery in English. So far, we've studied characters for our suspects, and the parts of a mystery. Rough drafts will begin before Christmas and we will do the good copies in the computer lab after Christmas.
We have finished our explorer power points and will share them the week of Dec. 7. There is a test on the 50 states at the end of January. Students have a practice map in their folders.
